Aug 02, 2013Posted August 2, 2013. Had a chance to grind a couple of spare test shims at work tonight. Took a total of .005, .010 and finally .020 off a single face for both shims testing the hardness at each step. Hardness never varied more than 2 HRC from start to finish, roughly 5658 HRC.
